You can use the iNAME scan-time image archiving function to archive a single sheet that does not contain form ID marks or timing marks. Following is a summary of the process. See specific topics for more detailed information.
- Check the Release for scanning check box.
- In the Enable Image area, select For Top and Bottom or For Top Only.
- In the Enable iNAME area, select either Before User Exits or After User Exits.
- In the Clipping Mode area, select Whole Sheet.
CAUTION: Scan-time archiving for sparse clips is not supported.
- Clip Grayscale and/or Clip Compression settings can be changed, if desired.
- We do not recommend use of the Background Form Merge feature.
- Do not model the new configuration on a previously saved one for another application.
- In the iNAME Configuration - Images to Archive Definition Screen, select the Top and/or Bottom side image of the sheet to archive.
- In the iNAME Configuration - Paths and Indexes Screen:
- Enter or Browse to an Archive Base Directory Path.
- Define an Archive Variable Directory Name.
- Enter an Archive Base Filename.
- Define an Archive Variable Filename. The format string "Document’s ScanTools Serial Number" is required.
- Save your iNAME configuration file.
