On the Score menu of the ScanTools Main Window, select New to create a new score profile. You see the Score Profile - (Untitled) dialog. In this dialog, you can create a score profile for the application selected in the main window.
When you move the mouse pointer over text lines in the window that can be changed, the pointer turns into a magnifying glass. Click the right or left mouse button to display what can be done to that data.
The following parameters are used in creating score profiles. Complete details of what you can define in the score profile are contained in the help topics for the dialogs and popups. The parameters are listed in the order in which they appear or are encountered while creating a score profile:
Profile Name dialog - Score Profile
Score Profile - Application popup
Key Data (dialog) - Score Profile
This is valid only if Keys scanned online was selected in the Key Data dialog.
Apply edits means that the key sheets will be edited during scanning, along with the other sheets. Do not apply edits means you will not be able to edit the key sheets during scanning. You can toggle between these choices using your mouse. There is no dialog for this parameter.
Store Keys/Append (dialog) - Score Profile
Print Scores (dialog) - Score Profile
This lets you select whether or not the score data is written into the output file in the same format used by sheet compile. OFF stores the score data first, followed by a blank space. ON stores a blank space first, then the score. You can toggle between these choices using your mouse. There is no dialog for this parameter.
Add/Replace Subtest Key (dialog) - Score Profile
Add Subtest (dialog) - Score Profile
Change Subtest (dialog) - Score Profile
Score Profile - Document popup
Scoring Factor (dialog) - Score Profile
Subtest Score (dialog) - Score Profile
Total Score (dialog) - Score Profile
Translate (dialog) - Score Profile
