Store Keys/Append dialog - Score Profile

This dialog is used when creating or editing a score profile. It is accessed when the magnifying glass cursor appears over the text line Never/Always Store key data in output file and you press the left mouse button. It allows you to select if the key data is stored in the output data file when the document is scored during scanning. The selections made here apply only if Online Scoring is performed during Scanning.

Never store keys in output file

The key data will not be stored in the output file.

Always store keys in output file

The key data will be stored in the output data file as the first record(s) in the batch. This setting causes key data to be stored every time you use this score profile when scanning.

Store keys in new output files, not when appending

The key data is only written to the output file if the file is new and did NOT exist prior to this scanning run. Key data will be stored only the first time you use the profile with this data file. You can use this setting to avoid having key data written every time you scan using this score profile.
