Shape Menu
The Shape Menu appears in Scantron DesignExpert only.

Modify... |
Change the selected shape. For example, if the shape is a box, the Modify Box dialog displays. For some shapes, you can modify multiple shapes of the same type. See any of the following for details: |
Repeat... |
Specify the number of multiples of the shape, define the spaces between shapes, and select which type of repeat behavior you want. See Modify Repeat dialog for details. |
Duplicate |
Make one identical copy of the currently selected shape. The new copy appears one-half grid location down and to the right-hand side of the original shape. For OMR response grids, the new copy is displayed one grid location down and to the right-hand side. The new duplicate shape becomes the currently selected shape. |
Group |
Group the selected shapes. You can then treat the group as a single object. Grouped shapes are easier to move around in your workspace. |
Ungroup |
Separate a grouped object into the respective individual shapes that formed the group. Also used to undo a repeated shape. |
Lock |
Anchor the selected shape to the current location on the form, and prevent it from being cut, deleted, moved, or resized. If you want to change or delete the shape, you need to first unlock it. |
Lock Vertical |
Anchor the selected shape vertically so you can only move or resize the shape horizontally. |
Lock Horizontal |
Anchor the selected shape horizontally so you can only move or resize the shape vertically. |
Unlock |
Unlock the selected shape so you can cut, delete, move, or resize it in any direction. |
Move to Front |
Relocate the shape so it is on top of all other shapes. |
Move to Back |
Relocate the shape so it is beneath all other shapes, on the bottom. |
Move Forward One |
Relocates the shape so it is one layer forward, closer to the top. |
Move Back One |
Relocates the shape so it is one layer back, closer to the bottom. |
Select Down One |
Moves the mouse pointer to select the shape that is in the next layer down (or back). |
Select Up One |
Moves the mouse pointer to select the shape that is in the next layer up (or forward). |
