ScanningManager Summary

ScanningManager is responsible for all scanning operations and activities. ScanningManager is a creatable class; there can be only one instance of ScanningManager.

AutoConfigureScanner

Automatically detect hardware settings for a scanner

ChainToUserExit

Create a ScanTools Plus user exit chain in your solution program

ConfigureScanner

Specify hardware settings for a scanner

Diagnose

Runs a scanner diagnostic by scanning a test sheet

FindAndConfigureScannerAsync Searches for a scanner regardless of whether or not a scanner is already configured in an asynchronous manner.

Searches for a scanner regardless of whether or not a scanner is already configured

Pause

Interrupts the scanning operation and returns immediately. Scanning can subsequently be continued or stopped.

Ping

Returns the state of ScanningManager

Scan

Initiates a scanning session and returns immediately

SetClientWindowHandle

The window handle over which all dialogs/message boxes will be displayed

SetKernelErrorMode

Indicates which type of error handling the client program will assume

SetScanErrorResolution

Defines the resolution of the event ScanError

Stop

Ends the scanning session and returns immediately
