ScanningManager.ConfigureScanner method

Configures the scanner attached to the specified port, using settings from the HardwareConfig object, and makes it the active scanner.

HRESULT ConfigureScanner([in] L_PORT_ENUM Port, [in] IHardwareConfig* pVal);

Input Parameters

Port

Identifies the port with the scanner to be configured. Port is of type L_PORT_ENUM. See L_PORT_ENUM for all values.

L_PORT_USE_CURRENT uses the same port last used in AutoConfigureScanner or ConfigureScanner.

pVal

Pointer to HardwareConfig object that holds the hardware configuration settings for the scanner you are configuring.
