ScanningManager.SetKernelErrorMode method

Indicates which type of error handling the client program will assume.

HRESULT SetKernelErrorMode([in] long newVal);

Input Parameters

The value is based on L_KERNEL_ERRORMODE_ENUM. Use either basic or advanced scanner error handling. The two elements (the general error and one of the scanner errors) may be ORed together to indicate client wants to handle both general and scanner errors.

L_CLIENTHANDLES_GENERRORS

Client wants to handle general errors.

L_CLIENTHANDLES_SCANERRORS_BASIC

Client wants to handle scanner errors in a basic way.

L_CLIENTHANDLES_SCANERRORS_ADVANCED

Client wants to handle scanner errors in an advanced way.

L_CLIENTHANDLES_SCANERRORS (deprecated)

Client wants to handle scanner errors.

0 (zero)

Client does not want to handle errors. ScanTools Plus will handle general program and scanner errors.
