Define Bar Code dialog

The Define Bar Code dialog appears when you select the Bar Code Tool button in the Application Module, when you select an existing bar code in the fields and grids area, or when you select an existing software bar code in the grid definition area. Use it to define the characteristics of a bar code you expect to read, including whether you are using a hardware or software bar code.

During bar code definition, you can switch your selection from software to hardware bar code. Once defined, a software bar code can't be changed to a hardware bar code. You must delete the software bar code and create a hardware bar code.
