This dialog appears after you select Test Bar Code in the Define Bar Code dialog and scan a sheet. It tests both whether you define a software bar code correctly in your application and whether or not the bar code on your form is being decoded properly.

The image clip of the decoded software bar code appears. The area of the bar code outlined in red is the actual area decoded. If necessary, the clip is scaled to fit the window. |
Bar code type |

If you are not sure of bar code type when you are defining the bar code, you can you use this feature to find out. If desired, this enables you to just select the specific bar code type you expect to read with your application. |
Bar code text |

The decoded bar code orientation is identified. This includes Horizontal, Vertical, and Angled. If you are not sure of bar code orientation when you are defining the bar code, you can you use this feature to find out. If desired, this enables you to just select the specific bar code orientation you expect to read with your application. |
