Bar Code Implementation

Scantron scanners and ScanTools Plus software support two independent methods of bar code reading: hardware and software. Your scanner may be equipped to support either, none, or both methods. ScanTools Plus software supports both types of bar code reading.

NOTE: The EZData scanner does not support bar coding of any kind.

If your scanner supports it, both hardware and software bar code can be implemented within the same application, to the level of the same bar code if necessary.
