Options Menu - Main Window

The options menu allows you to set the display for the main window and access options for scanning, editing, scoring, converting, and archiving files.

File Bar 

Controls which items are shown in the file bar of the main window, including Application, Data file, Edit profile, Score profile, and Conversion profile.

Action Bar 

Controls which buttons appear in the button bar of the scanning module, including Scan, Edit, Score, Convert, Archive, and iNAME Merge.

Refresh Context 

Updates the file lists in the Application, Data file, and all Profile drop-down menus on the File bar. Refresh gets all file names from the currently defined paths, Paths for Applications, Data Files, and Profiles.

Scanning Options… 

Sets defaults for many items used in scanning and in online editing, scoring, and converting. Scanning Options dialog.

Edit Options… 

Sets defaults for the edit profile used in post-scan editing. Edit Options dialog.

Score Options… 

Sets defaults for which score profile and data file used in post-scan scoring. Score Options dialog.

Conversion Options… 

Sets defaults for conversion profile used in post-scan converting. Conversion Options dialog.

Archive Options… 

Sets post-scan archiving options. Archive Options dialog.

iNAME Merge Options… 

Controls what data file is used for the merge of background form images and whether a backup copy of the un-merged images will be made. iNAME Merge Options dialog.

Short/Long Menus 

Controls whether the short or long versions of menus are used.

If Long Menus is selected, the Edit, Score, and Convert menus appear in the main window menu bar.

If Short Menus is selected, the Edit, Score, and Convert menus are not displayed in the main window menu bar. Instead, a Profile menu appears that provides access to Edit, Score, and Conversion profile selections.
