Duplicate

Make one identical copy of the currently selected shape. The new copy appears one-half grid location down and to the right-hand side of the original shape. For OMR response grids, the new copy is displayed one grid location down and to the right-hand side. The new duplicate shape becomes the currently selected shape.

Cut

Remove the selected shape(s) and places it into the Windows clipboard so you can paste it elsewhere. You cannot cut a shape that is locked.

Copy

Copy the selected item(s) and place it on the Windows clipboard so you can paste it elsewhere.

NOTE: We do not recommend copying and pasting graphics from one Scantron DesignExpert file to another.

Paste

Paste the contents of the Windows clipboard. If you are pasting a shape, such as a box, it is pasted to the same location it was cut or copied from. If you paste a copy on the same page as the original shape, you have two copies of that shape in the same location, one on top of the other.

Grouping

Group and ungroup selected objects.

Use this option… …to…

Group

Group the selected shapes. You can then treat the group as a single object. Grouped shapes are easier to move around in your workspace.
