Enter Translate Table Entry
for Image Scanner Implementation Only

This dialog appears when you select Add Translation in the Enter Field Translation for Inclusion In Item dialog. If you are using a Field Data with Translation format string in one of the Build Format String dialogs, you can define a translation so that the directory, filename, or index contains a string you define rather than the actual field data.

From String

Enter the string from the field that you want to translate. The length of the string you enter must be the same for all entries, based on the field length you specified in the Select Field Containing Data To Be Used In The Item dialog. For example: "Male··" for a 6-character Gender field (where "·" = space).

To String

Enter the string that you want the field to contain. For example: "Boy" instead of "Male··".

Characters Used = __ of __ Available

ScanTools automatically shows the number of characters you selected compared to the total number of characters available.
