Select Translate Table(s) to Import dialog

The Select Translate Table(s) to Import dialog box lets you choose the translate tables that you want to import into the currently open application. More than one translate table can be selected for importing.

This dialog box appears after you select the ScanTools application file (.sds) containing the translate tables to import in the Select Application File dialog.

List of Translate Tables

The main area of this dialog contains a list of the names of translate tables in the application file. Both custom and ScanTools system level translate tables are listed.

Use this list to select which translate tables you need imported. More than one translate table can be selected at a time. Ctrl+click to pick tables in any order or Shift+click to pick several adjacent tables at the same time.

If you want to see the definition of the entries for any one translate table, select one table name and use the Display Table Entries button, below.

After you select one translate table name from the list above, use this button to view the response positions and corresponding characters defined for that translate table. The Display Translate Table Entries dialog for that individual table appears. This is a way to verify that the table you are selecting to import contains the definition of characters you desire.

OK or Cancel

When you select all the translate table names you need to import, click OK; this begins the import operation. If duplicate translate table names are encountered in both applications, the Duplicate Translate Table Name - Import dialog appears; allowing you to decide what action to take.
