Duplicate Translate Table Name - Import dialog

The Duplicate Translate Table Name – Import dialog box appears when you are attempting to import a translate table from a different ScanTools application and the name of the table being imported matches the name of an existing translate table in the current application.

When the duplicate table name is encountered, the duplicate name appears in the text box near the bottom of the dialog, along with an indication of whether the table entries are unique or not unique.

ScanTools does not allow duplicate translate table names in the same application; if you want the translate table imported, you must rename it. Make sure that the new name does not match any other translate table name within the destination application.

Translate table name considerations:

This dialog box reappears for each translate table name that has a duplicate condition.

To import the table, click in the text box and type the new name for the table; then, click Import.

To skip the current duplicate name and continue to the next translate table for importing, click Don’t Import.

Click Cancel to terminate the import translate table operation for any remaining tables. All tables successfully imported before Cancel was selected are imported.

After all actions are completed in this dialog, the Import Translate Table Complete dialog appears, listing which tables were and were not imported.
