Printer Alignment Dots
After you have created a Laser Printer Only document, a black dot in each corner is needed for printer alignment with Scantron DesignExpert stock form 103188 or 265914. During printer alignment print test, the dots are printed at 100% solid black so they are easy to see. During standard printing, they are printed at a light screen level, dark enough to allow printer alignment to be checked but light enough to avoid being overly noticeable to the form user.
These alignment dots are not needed for printer alignment if you are laser printing on plain paper with the PrintFlex option. If desired, you can delete them from your design. They are locked so you will have to unlock them before you delete them:
- Select the alignment dots.
- Select Unlock from the Shape menu.
- Delete the dots.
