User Exit 5: XPRINT - Transport Print

This only applies to scanning user exits, not for Edit or Score user exits.

You can use this user exit to:

Change the print string after it has been formatted for printing
Write data to the output record
Change data record

At this point, the print string has either an edit format or the standard batch/serial/date-string format. The string can be changed, or printing can be suppressed, by selecting the Suppress Printing option.

This exit occurs even if editing has been suppressed in RESOLVE.

NOTE: Clipping can be done here if the user exit is only for an iNSIGHT 70/150 or 5000i scanner; otherwise clipping should be done in DOCLIP.
