If you are running an existing iNAME image archiving application, we recommend you update your iNAME implementation to take advantage of the ease of operation provided by the new, integrated interface.

If desired, you can continue to run iNAME Image Archive Utility and iNAME Merge Utility as you have in the past:
This iNAME configuration dialog appears after you have launched iNAME Configuration.exe, the iNAME Image Archive Utility program. You should only use this program if you are using an existing application that uses the iNAME Image Archive Utility. Run the Utility in the same fashion as before.

Use the Browse button if the application files are not in the location currently displayed.
Use the down arrow to view all applications in the path. Select the application you want to use.
After the application name appears in the Select
Application box, use the Select App
button. If you are using an application that was created in an earlier

If your iNAME configuration (*.ini) file is complete and correct, the application you select appears in the Selected Application Number area.
If your iNAME configuration (*.ini) file is incomplete or incorrect, the Uncorrected Errors Encountered During Load of the Configuration dialog appears with a list of errors for you to address. The configuration is unusable until they are fixed.

Select Paths & Indexes to open the iNAME Configuration - Paths & Indexes Screen where you can define or modify the parameters of image archive directories, filenames, indexes, file types, file formats, and index entries to be included in the index file that is generated during scanning.
Select Images to Archive to open the iNAME Configuration - Images To Archive Definition Screen where you can select the images you want to archive during scanning.
