ScanningManagerEvents.SessionInit event

This event is fired once per scanning session before the first sheet is scanned. ScanTools Plus software has successfully performed its initialization. This is an excellent time for your program to perform its own per-batch initializations, open files, or connect to databases.

If a user exit is also specified in the application definition, ScanTools Plus has invoked the INIT user exit point at this time. It is also possible for the solution to establish a custom conversation with the user exit, if necessary.

If ScanningManager.Stop is issued at the SessionInit event, the scanning session is terminated immediately; no sheet is scanned. In this case, the argument used with the Stop method is ignored.

ScanningManager.Ping returns L_STATE_SCANNING at this event.
