HardwareConfig.Parity property

Read-Write property.

Type: L_PARITY_ENUM.

NOTE: This setting does not affect scanners that do not connect using an RS232 serial port connection to a PC.

Used to specify which type of parity is used in the connection between the PC and the scanner.

This is the same as the Parity control in the ScanTools Plus Scanner Configuration dialog.

propget, HRESULT Parity([out, retval] L_PARITY_ENUM *pVal);

propput, HRESULT Parity([in] L_PARITY_ENUM newVal);

Values

L_PARITY_ODD (Default)

Odd parity

L_PARITY_EVEN

Even parity. Required for the EZData scanner.

L_PARITY_NONE

No parity
