HardwareConfig.HasTransportPrinter property

Read-only property.

Type: Boolean.

Used to indicate if a scanner has a transport printer installed.

The value is valid only if the scanner has been auto-configured using ScanningManager.AutoConfigureScanner method, and Scanner.State = L_SCANNER_STATE_AUTOCONFIGURED. The OpScan 2/3/4/4U scanners do not report the presence of a printer and always look like a printer is installed. This means that AutoConfigureScanner sets the read-only property HardwareConfig.HasTransportPrinter = True. Since you cannot change this property, you should use HardwareConfig.DisableTransport Printer when you do not have a printer installed on one of these scanner models.

Values

TRUE (Default)

Scanner has a transport printer.

FALSE

No transport printer is on the scanner. This is always the value for the EZData, iNSIGHT 20, and iNSIGHT 30 scanners.
