ClipServer.Open method

This method opens the ScanTools Plus master clip file preparatory to reading clip objects.

The current position is invalid after calling this method. See ClipServer.Position property

A subsequent MoveNext tries to set the position to the first document, or you can set the Position property if you are using random access.

HRESULT Open([in] BSTR AppDefFile, [in] BSTR MasterClipFile)

Input Parameters

AppDefFile

String. The full path and file name for the ScanTools Plus application definition (.SDS.StxAppDef) file.

MasterClipFile

String. The full path and file name for the ScanTools Plus master clip .(tif) file.

Exceptions

Throws Permission Denied exception for un-trusted callers. Works as expected for trusted callers. Please note that an instance of ClipServer can be created regardless of the caller.
