ClipServer.Position property

Read-Write property.

Clips are organized by document in the master tiff file. Clips for the same document are contiguously stored. A document is uniquely identified and/or located by its serial number in the data file. In the master tiff file, a document is uniquely located by the physical position (file offset) of the Image File Directory (IFD) of the first clip for that document. This is reflected as the IFD Offset column in the Master table. Your scanning application file (.sds.StxAppDef) must have the Image Header enabled, see Image Header Fields - ScanTools Plus Application Definition. The position is also known as the currency or current position of the ClipServer object.

This property sets or gets the current position of the ClipServer object. The IFD Offset column (Image File Directory) in the Master table supplies this value when setting the property.

If the clip file has no documents or the position is before the first document or past the last document, reading this property throws an exception.

NOTE: This should be at a document boundary.
