ClipServer.GetClip method

This method takes the Tag as an argument. See IClip.Tag for more information.

This method searches the current document’s clips collection, building it if necessary, and returns the first clip that matches the specified tag.

If there is no match, the method simply returns NULL; it does not throw an exception.

Recall that the current document can be set in one of two ways – sequentially via the MoveNext method and randomly using the Position property. If the position is invalid, accessing this property throws an exception.

Tag

Tag for the clip, from the Clip.Tag Property

Return Value

IClip

Pointer to the IClip interface that holds the clip taken during scanning.
