About the Presenters
Vern Kathol, Vice President of Hardware and Managed Print Services (STS), has more than 30 years of leadership experience in IT. He has held leadership roles in Technical Support, Depot Repair, Purchasing, Inventory/Logistics, IT Governance and Product Strategy, and brings this experience to bear in M&A activity. Vern’s responsibilities include developing growth vision and strategy, execution via organic service development, strategic alliances and supporting of acquisition strategy. Vern has critically shaped and led STS’s Managed Network Services and Managed Print Services business lines and associated M&A strategy. His leadership in strategic alliances has grown the Hardware Maintenance and Implementation Services lines. Vern’s IT Governance initiatives produced supporting systems that earned him and his team the company’s prestigious Pillar of Excellence Award for Innovation.
Randy Lorenzen, MPS Sales Specialist, has over 23 years of sales experience in the IT office equipment and office supplies space. He has held sales and leadership roles throughout his career, supporting small and medium sized companies and Fortune 500 firms. Randy’s experience in understanding how the office works has allowed him to develop broad print and printer strategies for clients of all sizes and industries. As MPS Sales Specialist, his responsibilities include development of print strategies using data analytics and his collective experience in delivering managed print service solutions for the past nine years with STS. Randy’s commitment to service and his passion for taking care of the customer allows him deliver hardware and service solutions that truly make offices work better.
