Education in the 21st century focuses on college-and-career readiness. Historically, many schools have focused on the college side neglecting the career side. This creates a gap in students’ abilities to meet the demands of today’s labor force. Recognizing this gap, Scantron is developing CTE items and assessments to support students and educators.
