NOTE: This function is only available to Scan User Exits using iNSIGHT 20, iNSIGHT 30 or iNSIGHT 2/4 image scanners.
This function sets the resolution of the image files to 240 x 120 dpi for high speed iNSIGHT 70/150 or 5000i compatibility.
It can only be used when taking a clip using one of the ClipOMRRegion, ClipWorldRegion, or ClipPixelRegion user exit calls (or the Special version of these calls).
The function is only effective for Bitone G3 compressed clips, Bitone G4 compressed clips, and 8-bit Grayscale JPEG clips.
It does not resize clips taken for Archive or Edit.
See iNSIGHT 20, iNSIGHT 30 or iNSIGHT 2/4 to iNSIGHT 70/150 or 5000i Image Clip Scaling.
NOTE: An image viewer that supports JFIF (JPEG File Interchange Format) images with a non-uniform aspect ratio must be used to properly show 240 x 120 dpi JPEG images created by high speed scans.
