Get the document number of the current document. This number is assigned by ScanTools during application creation. It has no intrinsic meaning other than as an identifier.
For Scan User Exits
If called at the ACQUIRE exitpoint on the first sheet of a document, the document number will not be known yet and will be set to -1. In booklet scanning, after the first sheet has been scanned, the expected document number will be set, but there is no guarantee that this is the document that has actually been scanned.
For Edit and Score User Exits---
The document number returned is the document number of the document which generated the data record being edited or scored.
