ChainToExit

This function is only available to Scan User Exits.s. For Edit and Score User Exits see the ChainEditUserExit and ChainScoreUserExit functions.

Causes ScanTools to add the named exit to its chain. With this call, ScanTools allows one exit to call another.

Up to 100 exits can be chained together. The execution order is as follows:

  1. Parent user exit (the one invoking ChainToExit)
  2. First exit added to chain...
  3. ...Last exit added to chain

User exits can only be added to the exit chain at exitpoint INIT. They are automatically unloaded at CLEANUP.

The name given as the exit file name is passed directly to the LoadLibrary API. See the description of that function for a description of the search method used.

Because ScanTools does set the per application path in the registry, the ScanTools directory is searched.

This function is valid only for the following exit points:
