Test Run Options - Download

This dialog box appears if you select Test Run from the Options menu of the Download main window, or if you selected Test Run Options from the Confirmations dialog box and are doing a Test Run.

Scanner Output File

Performing a Test Run requires an output file for the data to be written to. Scanner output files have a .DDA extension, and are created using the File Menu Scanner Output File, New item. Once you have created a file, you can select a specific file from the list, or select the Use Current option. Once .DDA files are created, they are stored in the ScanTools Data Files directory (The default directory is C:\Program Files\Scantron\ScanTools Plus\Data Files. Your directory may be different).

If the Use Current box is selected, the name of the scanner output file comes from the Scanner Output File field on the Download main window.

Existing File

If you are using an Existing File for the test run, select one of the following options:

Scanning

The Scanning setting controls whether scanning is done one document at a time, or continuously.

When you select the options you want, the Test Run dialog box appears. From it, you can start your test run.
