Runtime Defaults Dialog Box

In this dialog box, you specify the scanning defaults for the application. These are the settings that ScanTools Plus uses the first time scanning is performed. It allows the developer to set the scanning application up correctly for first use by the scanning operator.

NOTE: If the scanning operator changes any of these settings, the new context settings are stored in the registry and are in effect on subsequent ScanTools runs.

What's on the screen? 

Use this element... to...
name text boxes enter the names of the data and profile file names for the first use of the ScanTools Plus scanning module.
Update Current Application Context update the context (the options set in this dialog) for the current user on the current computer.
Options button set edit, scanning, and conversions options for first time use of the ScanTools Plus scanning module. These are the same settings available under the Options menu item in the scanning module.
