This dialog is used when creating or editing a score profile. It is accessed when the magnifying glass cursor appears over the text line Store subtest score in field under the Subtest heading, and you press the left mouse button. It allows you to select which field in the output record stores this subtest score for this document. The field must be fixed length, at least 4 bytes long, and previously defined in the application using the Output Field Entry dialog.
You may use the same field to store the total score and any subtest scores, if the field has enough space available. ScanTools software calculates how much space is available in the fields and only shows fields which have enough remaining space for scores. See also Total Score dialog. A total score requires 5 bytes. If you elect to store total and subtest scores in the same field, the total score is always stored first, followed by the subtest scores, in the order the subtests are defined in the document in the profile. Scores are separated by spaces. Scores are left-justified with spaces filled in on the right.
This list is enabled and contains all output record field names for this document that are fixed length and large enough (4 bytes or more) to store this subtest score. Select the field that you want to use to store the subtest score.
If you do not want to store the subtest score in a field, make sure there is no entry in the list; a field will not be used and NONE appears in the score profile. If you had a field defined and want to change the selection to NONE, highlight the field name and press the Delete key. The field will be changed to NONE.
