Paths dialog box

The Paths dialog box box is accessed from the main window Configure menu, Paths selection. It lets you select the directories where ScanTools software looks for application files, profile files, and data files.

The dialog box box contains the following fields:

• Application. Enter the directory path where ScanTools looks for application definition files.
• Profile. Enter the directory path where ScanTools looks for profile files.
• Data. Enter the directory path where ScanTools places the completed data files or the converted data files (optional).

For Image Scanner Implementation Only: Paths for the TIFF image file can also be entered. This directory path may be used to build the Image File Directory in the Archive Options dialog box.

• ImageArchive Index File (For Image Scanner Implementation Only). This ImageArchive Index File Directory applies only to the index files used by ApplicationXtender. When selected in the Index File section of the Archive Options dialog box box, this information shows in the Index File Directory field of the Archive Options dialog box. If you change the path here, it is reflected in the Archive Options dialog box and vice versa.

The ScanTools Native (*.NDX) does not use this field. It uses the same directory as the archived image files.

You can enter the path name in the text box or click the adjoining Browse button to navigate to the desired directory/subdirectory path where the files reside.
