This window enables you to view a log of technical statistics relating to the use of ScanTools software with your scanner. It is primarily for use by service technicians, but you may find it interesting.
When the ScanTools Main Window is open, press CTRL-L to access the Scanning Error Log.
The number of soft data losses and the number of data losses are listed under Data Link Errors. The row for soft datalost errors shows the number of datalost errors that were fixed by retries. For example, if you get a datalost error and after 2 retries it goes away, the Soft Datalost count is 2. If you get a datalost error, and after 5 retries it is still there, it appears in the Datalost row, and the soft datalost count remains unchanged.
Resets the statistical information displayed in the window. The Total sheets scanned entry is NOT updated when you reset the log.
