Form ID Matching dialog

In the ScanTools application module window, you select which method of form ID matching is used at scanning time by selecting Form ID Matching from the Options menu. You receive the Form ID Matching dialog box with the choices listed below. This setting affects all sheets in all documents in this application. Eac h setting describes the rules used at scanning time in order for each sheet to be properly identified so that scanning can proceed.

Normal

NOTE: This is the recommended setting unless you have a specific situation that requires Enhanced or Exact.

Enhanced

Use Enhanced when you have a narrow sheet (less than 8.5 inches wide) that has form ID marks that are a subset of those on a wider sheet, in the same application. This allows ScanTools to differentiate between the two forms. The example shows this situation.
