Follow the steps in this procedure to install an application from a different location on your system or from other file storage media:

This shows the currently selected installation path name.
This area allows you to view and select from all file names of the file types selected within the directory selected.
This area allows you to view and select from all directory names available.
These check boxes select the types of files that can be installed from the application. Use these to display the file names with the specified extensions in the Files list area. You may then select those files you want to install. Whatever you check here becomes the setting for this dialog box the next time you enter it, even if you Cancel when you exit the dialog box.
Use this check box to list the INSTALL.SCT file.
This is a file required if the application was originally created using
the DOS environment version of
Use this check box to list the application file(s) associated with the application(s) selected. The application file has the name format of Z###.SDS, where ### is the application number.
Use this check box to list all edit profiles associated with the application(s) selected.
Use this check box to list all score profiles associated with the application(s) selected.
Use this check box to list all conversion profiles associated with the application(s) selected.
Use this check box to list all data files associated with the application(s) selected.
Use this check box to list all user exits associated with the application(s) selected.
For Image Scanner Implementation Only: Use this check box to list all background form image files and image clip files for the application(s).
NOTE: If you install
your application by using the Install Application function and a background
form image file is identified for the application on the Image Clips dialog,

For Image Scanner Implementation Only: Use this check box to list all iNAME configuration files associated with the application(s). The file has the name format of Z###.INI, where ### is the application number.
For Image Scanner Implementation Only: Use this check box to list all RealTime OCR (RTOCR) control files for the application(s). The file has the name format of ###.OCR, where ### is the application file name.
For Image Scanner Implementation Only: Use this check box to list the RealTime Character Recognition control files associated with the application(s). The file has the name format of ###.ICR, where ### is the data file name.
Before you can install any of the files listed in the Files box, you must select them.
If you want to select an application that is located in a directory other than the one shown in the Directory field, select it from the Directories list. When you select a new directory, its name appears in the Directory field.
If you want to view the details of the files you have selected, select the Details push button. The Details dialog box for the files you select appears. The Details dialog box shows information appropriate for the file type selected.
