Deleting an Application - Procedure
Follow the steps in this procedure to delete an application
and/or any files associated with it:
CAUTION: Deleting
an application not only removes it from the list of available applications,
it deletes the application and any associated files from your disk.
- Select Configure
from the menu bar. The Configure
list appears.
- Select Delete
Application Files from the list. The Delete
Application dialog box appears. A list of currently installed
applications appears in the Currently
Installed Applications box.
- Select the application(s)
you want to delete.
- Select the appropriate
check box items for the types of files you want deleted: Applications,
Edit Profiles, Score Profiles, Conversion Profiles, Form Background Files,
User Exits, iNAME INI Files, RTOCR OCR Files, and Data, ICR and Clip files.
- click OK.
The Delete Application Files dialog box
appears. It lists all files of the types you selected that are associated
with the application you selected. All files in the box are initially
selected (highlighted), meaning they are deleted when you click OK.
- At this time you may
continue to deselect, and/or reselect any of the files listed. Any files
selected when you click OK are deleted. You do NOT receive a confirmation
message. Select Cancel at any time to exit without deleting any
files.
