This dialog box is used to define what data file will be used when you are running Archive/iNAME Merge and whether to save a backup copy of the un-merged images. It appears when you select iNAME Merge Options from the Options menu of the ScanTools Main Window.
Select the data file to use with iNAME Merge
If you run iNAME Merge automatically after scanning, use this option. Click the radio button to use the data file currently selected in the ScanTools Main Window, Data file area.
If you run iNAME Merge manually after scanning, use this option.Click the radio button to use the data file currently shown in this area. Click on the down arrow to the right of the data file area to display a list of the available data files.
Check this if you want to save the original image clip files produced during scanning (with no background image) in addition to the merged image files. The un-merged images will be stored in a subdirectory under the Archive Base\Variable path, as defined in the iNAME configuration, for storage of image files. The subdirectory is the same name as the original location but with the addition of "_backup" as the subdirectory name. If you do not want the original image clip files saved in the backup subdirectory, uncheck this item. This option is checked the first time iNAME Merge is opened. However, when you uncheck it, the setting remains un-checked until you change it again, regardless of which application you select. The setting remains persistent until you change it.
