SessionInfo.Starting_SerialNo property

Read-Write Property.

Type: long.

Represents the starting serial number for the first document in the next session. The serial number may be up to 6 digits long and is incremented for each document scanned.

If scanning to an existing *.dat file and this serial number is in the file, records will be overwritten from that point on. All records after that one will be lost. If appending to an existing data file the serial number, it is ignored and serial numbers are assigned from the last one in the file+ 1. Scanning stops when the maximum serial number of 999998 is reached.
