SessionInfo.PrintPosition property

Read-Write Property.

Type: long

A scanner with a transport printer can print a string along the guide edge. The guide edge is organized into 80 cells with the first one located at the trailing edge of the sheet.

This property specifies the cell position from where the transport printer should start printing the print string. The print position setting is especially important when you run the same sheet through the scanner more than once. Offset the print string the second time so the scanner does not print over the previously printed string.

If you change the actual print string at an event, the print position reverts back to 1 for that sheet. If this position is not acceptable, you must include leading spaces with the new print string. See Sheet.PrintString property for details.

IDL

propget, HRESULT PrintPosition([out, retval] long *pVal);

propput, HRESULT PrintPosition([in] long newVal);

Values
