ScanningManagerEvents.ScannerSearch event

When the solution program calls ScanningManager.FindAndConfigureScanner, this event is fired each time a port is about to be probed for presence of a scanner. The event can thus happen multiple times.

ScanningManager.Ping() returns L_STATE_EVENTHANDLER_SCANNERSEARCH

ScanEventArgs.ActiveScanner is available during this event

ScanEventArgs.ActiveScanner.Port contains the port that is about to be probed

ScanEventArgs.ActiveScanner.State contains L_SCANNER_STATE_NORESPONSE

The program can skip this port by setting ScanEventArgs.SkipPortOrScanner to true.

The program can cancel the process by setting ScanEventArgs. CancelScannerSearch to true.

Typical use of this event is to show progress to the user. Solution programs should handle this event if they want to avoid probing certain ports on which other devices may be connected. You can also use this event to short circuit the entire process.
