EDIT_PROFILE Rowset

ScantronScantron.Oledb Provider Specific. The EDIT_PROFILE rowset describes the contents of a ScanTools Plus edit profile. This schema rowset provides read-only access to the information stored in the edit profile (*.$epStxEdtPrf files). This information is used by client programs to determine how to validate the data.

SHEET_NUMBER

Sheet number in a booklet where the edit ends. Always one except in the case of booklet documents.

ORDINAL

DBTYPE_UI4

One-based ordinal of the edit; all edits in all documents contained in the profile. Changes to the edit profile can cause this value to change.

START_POSITION

Start position of the edit, measured from first character in the field

LENGTH

Length of the edit

COMPLETENESS_EDIT

DBTYPE_UI1

One of the values in Completeness Edit enumerated datatype. See Completeness Edit Enumeration.

MAX_OMITS

DBTYPE_UI4

Maximum number of omits allowed in the field. (only valid for 1 and 2 digit item fields).

MAX_MULTS

DBTYPE_UI4

Maximum number of multiples allowed in the field (only valid for 1 and 2 digit item fields).

LOWER_BOUND

Lower bound for range check, or NULL to indicate no lower bound

UPPER_BOUND

DBTYPE_WSTR

Upper bound for range check, or NULL to indicate no upper bound

IS_ALWAYS_DISPLAY

DBTYPE_BOOL

If true, field is always shown in the editor

IS_BLANK_VALID

DBTYPE_BOOL

If true, a blank field passes edit

IS_OPTIONAL

DBTYPE_BOOL

If true, correction is optional

IS_GRAYBOX

DBTYPE_BOOL

If true, this is a graybox edit

GRAYBOX_LEVEL

Cutoff level for greybox edits

MILLENNIUM_CUTOFF_VALUE

For date fields with a 2 digit year, cutoff value for interpreting a year as 19xx rather than 20xx

STOP_SCAN_ON_FAIL

If true, stop scanner on edit failure

SELECT_ON_FAIL

Enumerated value for stack destination of sheet, as defined in Stacker enum.

SELECT_ALL_ON_FAIL

If true, all remaining sheets in booklet sent to the Select_On_Fail stacker

FLAG_RECORD_ON_FAIL

If true, flag record on failure

REJECT_RECORD_ON_FAIL

If not blank, send contents of named field to transport printer on failure

String of N, L ,T or A characters defining up to 4 different replacement actions

L – Leading

T – Trailing

A – All

REPLACE_FROM

DBTYPE_WSTR

String of up to 4 characters to be replaced, as specified by ReplaceType and ReplaceTo

REPLACE_TO

Replacement characters to use in conjunction with ReplaceType and ReplaceFrom
