OmrBuffer Object Summary

This object contains information on the currently scanned sheet, including the OMR read levels for the bubbles, the number of timing marks, and the maximum number of read cell positions along a timing mark. This is the result from a Diagnose or Scan command. It is returned as a parameter to the OmrHelper.OmrBuffer property and the deprecated event ScanningManagerEvents.OnDiagDataAvailable method event.

Type and Description

BackBuffer

BSTR. Read level for each cell of each timing mark, for back side of sheet.

BackTimingMarks

short. Number of timing marks on back side of sheet.

FrontBuffer

BSTR. Read level for each cell of each timing mark, for front side of sheet.

FrontTimingMarks

short. Number of timing marks on front side of sheet.

MaxCell

long. Maximum number of read head cells across one timing mark (X axis) on one side of the sheet.

SerializationFormat Unformatted. Qualifies the format of the string returned by the FrontBuffer and BackBuffer members

Which format to display OMR read level data, and window handle to use.

GetBubble

Returns the OMR read-level and the mark style for a specific read cell location.

SetBubble

Sets the OMR read-level and the mark style for a specific read cell location.
