Save As dialog

This dialog box appears when you are in the application module and select Application, Save As from the menu bar. This allows you to save the application with a new or existing name. Depending on how you have your Confirmations set, you may receive a message asking you if you want to overwrite an existing application if you select the name of an existing application.

Title

Enter a name for the application. The name can contain a maximum of 30 alphanumeric characters, but should NOT include the following special characters:

: " | < > ? / *

Also, valid DOS device names should NOT be used such as:

aux, com1, com2, com3 com4, con, lpt1, lpt2, lpt3

NOTE: iNAME Configuration Files: When you use Save As to save an application with a different name, the iNAME configuration *.ini file, if any, is not saved with the new application name. When you open the "new" application, you can model the iNAME configuration for it on an existing configuration file, including the one for the previous application. See iNAME Configuration and Select a Configuration File to Use as a Model dialog.

Number

Enter a number for the application. Valid numbers are 1 - 999. Leading zeroes are automatically added to numbers 1 - 99.

NOTE: If you enter zeroes for an application number (0, 00, or 000), or no value (you delete the existing number and do not enter a new number) the application is saved with the next available application number automatically assigned as the number. You do not receive a message when this occurs.
