Text Styles dialog
Use text styles to create pre-defined text and paragraph appearance. Using text styles make it faster and easier to format the text in text boxes. Text styles are not available for caption text. Access this dialog by selecting a text box, then selecting Text > Style. From here you can create or edits styles, delete styles, and apply styles to selected text within a box.

Delete Style |
Use this button to delete the selected text style. You will not see a confirmation message. Once you select this, the style is permanently deleted. Any text using the style remains formatted in the style, but the style will not be available anymore to apply to text. |
How do I…

- Click New Style. The Modify Text Styles dialog appears.
- Specify the settings for the new style.
- Click OK.
You may now apply the style to selected text.

- Click New Style. The Modify Text Styles dialog appears.
- Select a style from the list.
- Specify the settings for the new style.
- Click OK.
You must reapply the style to any text using it to see your changes.

- Click New Style. The Modify Text Styles dialog appears.
- Select a style from the list.
- Click Delete Style.
The style is permanently deleted, although any text formatted with the style retains the style formatting.

- Select text within a text box.
- Select Text > Styles.
- Select a style from the list.
- Click Apply.
- Click Close.
