Ruler Settings dialog

Use this dialog to specify how the ruler appears in your workspace. Access this dialog by selecting Options > Rulers…. Set the rulers' units of measurement and turn the ruler display on or off. These settings apply to both the horizontal and vertical ruler at the top and left sides of the document workspace.

Ruler Units	You can set the units of measurement for both the horizontal and vertical rulers. The unit of measurement can be set in points, millimeters, inches, or fractions of an inch (1/5, 1/6, 1/8, and 1/10). Once the rulers are displayed on the document work space, you can right-click a ruler to change the unit of measurement for that ruler. This enables you to have different units displayed for each ruler if you need.
Hide Rulers	Remove the rulers from the workspace by checking Hide Rulers. Clear this checkbox to display the rulers on the workspace.

Ruler Units
