Read-Write Property.
Type BSTR
Name of the ScanTools Plus data file (.dat) to which output records will be written. Users must provide the full file specification of the data file.
If scanning with an image scanner, the master TIFF file is also created in the same directory, and its name matches the data file, except has the extension .tif.
Default value is "".
If no name is specified ScanningManager will create a .dat file in the DataDirectory called XXX.dat where XXX is the application definition number. This property is updated to reflect the *.dat file value used for the session.
A *.dat file may only contain records belonging to a single ScanTools Plus application. Every document in a *.dat file must have a unique serial number.
Do not specify a URL for this property. Un-trusted callers should not specify this property. In this case the ScanningManager.Scan method throws Permission Denied exception.
propget, HRESULT DataFile([out, retval] BSTR *pVal);
propput, HRESULT DataFile([in] BSTR newVal);
