This Read/Write property is applicable only to dual stream capable scanners and otherwise ignored. Set it to DualStreamMode.TrueColor or DualStreamMode.NonDroppedBitone as desired. For more information see the help topic for DualStreamMode.

Type: DualStreamMode Enumerated Type

You can set HardwareConfig.DualStreamMode at various places: the ScannerFound event or ScannerSearchComplete event or just prior to calling ScanningManager.Scan. Within an event handler set ScanEventArgs.ActiveScanner.HardwareConfig.DualStreamMode = DualStreamMode.XXX.

NOTE: When you set HardwareConfig.DualStreamMode, the Scanner.Configuration property changes appropriately, just as it would for any other property.
